”It starts with ‘how do they (guns) get here?’ There’s no way a kid 16 or 17 should be able to get a gun so easily. People's attitudes towards guns are too lenient, we have too much freedom with firearms. Although, I do believe you can have a gun in your home for protection, stricter laws are needed.”

“I was just talking to my boy about life and how important it is to find passion in something. Something that will keep him out the way of those who can't grasp the idea of change. I can't continue reading about KIDS getting murdered and not do anything about it. I'm all too familiar with death. I'm all too familiar with best friends being taken away by senseless acts of violence, which is a big part of my reason for taking another route.”
